ABOUT US
QC Shockers
The QC Shockers basketball program was created in 2016. The team was limited to one grade with team members from the Quad City Area, playing in tournaments throughout Iowa, Wisconsin, and Illinois. In 2020 we decided to expand our offerings to boys and girls teams at multiple grade levels.

The goal of the QC Shockers basketball program is to develop young athletes in a competitive environment for high school and beyond. We hold competitive practices that yield increase skill sets and provide situational play that in return raises basketball IQ.
Team Make-up
QC Shockers will fill boys and girls teams in 5th thru 17U travel basketball.

Each team will consist of 10 tournament players and 11 players for practice.

Multiple teams per grade will be considered based on competitive level.

The goal of the QC Shockers program is to not have a head coach that is a parent of a team member. Coaches by grade will be communicated.

There will be separate tryouts for Fall/Winter and Spring/Summer teams.

Team members are highly encouraged to play with their school team in addition to QC Shockers.

Practices will vary but are generally twice a week.

We try to have approximately 10 local and travel tournaments and can include Iowa, Illinois , and Wisconsin.

We want to keep the tournaments competitive and in some cases will sign our teams to play up as we see fit.
